Renault has momentum; the brand has climbed to Europe’s No. 2 for combined passenger cars and light commercials, and the Clio topped Europe’s model charts over the same period.
Now, Renault is set to unveil its sixth-generation Clio on Monday, 8 September, at the International Motor Show (IAA Mobility) in Munich, Germany.
During a press conference and then a public display running 9–14 September at Odeonsplatz alongside the Renault 5, Renault 4 E-Tech, the Emblème demo car, and the Renault 5 Turbo 3E.

What to expect? Well, Renault is keeping it simple and modern.
The new Clio goes for smoother shapes, cleaner lines, and distinctive LED lighting. The roofline flows into a subtle rear spoiler to help efficiency, but overall the look is more “curvy and confident” than fussy.
Power will stay familiar: petrol and full-hybrid options. If you want an all-electric small Renault, that lane is covered by the reborn Renault 5—so shoppers can choose what suits them without overlap.
Inside, the Clio adopts Renault’s latest Google-powered infotainment (voice control, apps, and Maps) with a touchscreen you can set up your way. Materials and seats are designed to feel warm and welcoming, with more recycled content worked in—techy, but not cold.
Auto experts across europe expect mainland Europe sales of the car to start next year, with the UK likely in early 2027. With strong small-car rivals like the C3, MG3, and Corsa around, are these features enough to sway you into a new Renault Clio?
