234Drive is an independent media platform dedicated to exploring African mobility as a lens through which we examine economics, migration, infrastructure policy, gender equity, innovation and power.
We document how Africans move—within nations, across borders and through changing systems—and what that movement reveals about our societies. We believe that mobility is just as important as education and healthcare.
Our Perspective
234Drive approaches mobility from an African vantage point, centred in Nigeria but resonant across the continent and diaspora.
We begin from African experience—our histories, constraints, innovations and sensibilities—and use that perspective to reckon with the wider world. This approach allows us to ask better questions: about infrastructure and power, about gender and labour, about innovation and sustainability.
We recognise that African mobility stories are not peripheral to global conversations about transportation, climate, food insecurity and technology, but essential to understanding them.
Our Mission
Our mission is simple: to provide mobility intelligence.
234Drive exists to deepen public understanding of African mobility through reporting, analysis and storytelling that are historically grounded, intellectually rigorous and globally aware.
In a media environment increasingly shaped by speed and algorithmic noise, we choose depth. We prioritise context over spectacle, ideas over performance and clarity over immediacy.
Our Editorial Principles
Editorial Independence
Our reporting and analysis are independent. Partnerships and commercial relationships do not determine our editorial judgment. We disclose conflicts of interest transparently.
Fact-Checking
Every factual claim in our work is verified through primary sources. We correct errors promptly and transparently. We do not publish speculation as fact.
