It’s 288 feet long, a new flagship from Turquoise Yachts, and now it has officially entered the water—all built in Turkey. Named Vento, the 2,550-gross-tonne superyacht launched from the builder’s Istanbul facilities this week, setting a new benchmark as the largest yacht ever constructed in the country. H2 Yacht Design handled both the exterior and interior design, shaping a vessel that now stands as the country’s most substantial superyacht to date. Following delivery, Vento will join the global charter market through Edmiston.
Vento is big and beautiful, an entirely different beauty from the asymmetric drama of This Is It but stunning in its own right. Turquoise and H2 shaped the yacht with flowing, curved lines across a Tour de France–inspired blue steel hull and a contrasting white aluminium superstructure. A sharp bow and tiered aft decks frame the profile, giving the yacht a strong but refined presence on the water.

The yacht spans five decks and prioritises volume and usability. An enclosed, drive-in tender dock sits at the stern, leading directly to a full-beam beach club with fold-out terraces. A 21-foot swimming pool stretches across the main deck, reinforcing the vessel’s resort-style layout. Additionally, on the foredeck is a touch-and-go helipad that doubles as a basketball court, while the sundeck integrates an outdoor cinema, bar, and service kitchen for open-air entertaining.

The interior layout focuses on privacy and scale. The owner’s suite sits forward and connects to a private deck equipped with a Jacuzzi and cinema screen. The suite includes dual dressing rooms, an office, and a raised dining table positioned for unobstructed bow views. Guest accommodation comprises two VIP cabins and four additional cabins on the main deck, each finished in distinct colour schemes. The main salon seats 16 guests at a formal dining table, and a central atrium staircase connects the decks. A wellness suite adjacent to the gym features a sauna, hammam, and treatment room.
Twin MTU engines power Vento to a maximum speed of 17 knots, balancing performance with long-range cruising capability. Moreover, according to Turquoise CEO Burak Akgül, the project represents the culmination of more than three decades of shipbuilding heritage for the yard. With its delivery imminent and charter availability secured, Vento positions Turkey more prominently in the upper tier of global superyacht construction.
