Jetour’s T2 plug-in hybrid just rolled into Nigeria, and it ticks the big boxes: strong power, low running costs, and real four-wheel drive that runs well – even on bad roads and weekend trips.
It combines a 1.5-litre turbo engine with two electric motors to make a combined 280 kW (375 hp) and 610 Nm. A 26.73 kWh battery handles electric driving around town, and you can charge it fast or slow—or let the engine and brake regen top it up on the move.

Basically meaning no stress over range as with a pure electric vehicle.
Built as a “go anywhere” SUV, the T2’s intelligent XWD system reads the terrain and shifts power to the wheels that need it.
You get EV and HEV modes for daily use, plus Eco, Normal, and Sport for city traffic and open roads. When the tarmac ends, select Snow, Sand, or Rock and keep going.
Wading sensing helps with flooded patches, and 20-inch wheels add ground clearance and presence. Size-wise, it’s 4,785 mm long, 2,006 mm wide, and 1,875 mm tall—a roomy 5-seater inside, still manageable in tight streets.
Safety tech is loaded and ready for use, whenever.
The SUV is fitted with multiple airbags, Automatic Emergency (AE) Braking, a 360° camera with 2D/3D views, Lane Departure Warning, blind-spot and door-open alerts, rollover mitigation (stability control that helps prevent a tip-over), Bend Braking Control, Electronic Parking Brake, and Auto Hold.

It also warns of forward, rear, and side collisions to keep you out of trouble.
The interior feels modern, with most of the support needed within reach. A 15.6-inch touchscreen runs Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, with voice control and wireless charging to cut cables.
Long drives are easier with Adaptive Cruise Control, Highway Cruise Assist, and Traffic Jam Assist. Daily living is simple too: remote start, smart entry with push-button ignition, and an electronic gear selector.
Comfort touches include a panoramic roof, automatic climate control with rear vents and air-quality management, electrically adjustable power front seats with cooling and memory and a 12-speaker Sony sound system.
Automatic LED/matrix headlamps keep night driving clear, almost as smooth as day.
The cabin is spacious and flexible, so it works for family duties, business runs, and gear-heavy weekends. Moreover, because it can run on electric or petrol, you get the best of both worlds without changing your routine.
Jetour backs the T2 PHEV with a five-year/150,000 km warranty. After being voted NAJA’s (Nigeria Auto Journalists Association) “Fastest Growing Brand in Nigeria” in 2024, this feels like the right follow-up: a tough, tech-forward hybrid SUV built for Nigerian roads and Nigerian drivers.
A vehicle that matches daily and off-road wants – could this be the hybrid SUV that fits and flexes with your life?
